Terms and conditions.
All tours are private for your group, unless otherwise clearly stated. Booster, children- and infant seat available, without extra charge if ordered at least 24hrs prior your departure.
All tours have private pickup included from location you order. Within greater Reykjavik area, including Seltjarnes, Reykjavik, Kópavogur, Garðabær, Hafnarfjörður, Mosfellsbær. For postal code 116, 162, 271 & 276, there is extra 30% on local trips and 20% for Keflavik, Blue Lagoon and similar.
Bags and Luggages
Flyshuttle acknowledges that travel bags are designed to protect their contents. Considering normal handling, baggage may show evidence of wear and tear. Flyshuttle does not take responsibility for minor cuts, scratches, or dents, or for any damage that may occur to items that protrude from travel bags, such as retractable handles, wheels, straps, and luggage carts.
Flyshuttle is also not responsible for luggage that becomes wet or dirty due to external factors beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, water or snow entering the luggage compartment, or leakage from other luggage.
Pick-up schedule is departure time that you reserved, usually Flyshuttle is 5 minutes before, for waiting time over 5 min after scheduled picup, we can ask for extra charge. Be on time, we will be on time as well.
Pick-up schedule at Keflavik international airport. Here you send us the flight number and we monitor your arrival time. Its important to let us know if you have check in bags or only carry-ons. 30 min after your landing, we will be in arrival hall with your name on a tablet. We will wait, free of charge, up to 60 minutes, for landing from Schengen countries, and up to 90 minutes for non Schengen, USA, Canada etc.
If you text us on WhatsApp or regular text, or call us, its possible to wait longer for small fee.
If you miss your flight, its very important to notify us ASAP so we can reschedule without any cost, new pickup at KEF airport.
Road condition can delay our pickup and service, we will notify you. If we cannot operate service ordered, you will get full refund.
Local tours with included return. Its either fixed time or you have the option of calling 30 minutes before you want return and notify us. Shorter time than 30 minutes cannot be guaranteed. No show at fixed time for return, does not entitle refund.
Included
All taxes,fees and other.
Excluded
All admission ticket prices to tourist destinations etc. These trips are transfers only. Flyshuttle handle the ride and everyting including in road part, you pay at destination everything else. Service of Flyshuttle is a taxi service and therefore is no VAT. You can ask for an invoice but please notice,l it will not have VAT in it,as this service is VAT exempt.
Prices
Tours and services are in Icelandic krona, changes in exchange value are not Flyshuttle responsibility, we will charge in Icelandic krona for the price listed. If you have prepaid, with online payment, price will not change for your reservation.
Languages
Drivers speak English and some Icelandic as well. Be ready with translator online, if you wish to use other language to communicate with drivers.
Lost and found
Flyshuttle is not responsible for any lost or damaged items on our cars. Passengers are responsible for their belongings and should keep them secure.
Please let us know ASAP if you forget something in one of our cars and we will do our best to find it and in co-operation with you return it.
Food & beverages
Its not legal to consume food in Taxis in Iceland.
To ensure a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for next passengers, skip snacking in our cars. Beverages in spill-proof, covered containers can be permitted on board. Ask the driver.
Please note that the driver reserves the right to make the final decision regarding what is or isn’t acceptable on board. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in maintaining a comfortable ride for everyone.
Animals are not permitted unless you notify us within 72 hours, prior to your departure and we agree.
Transport of Musical Instruments and Valuable Items
Customers may carry small musical instruments and other valuable items in car, subject to their own responsibility. For larger instruments or items that require more space, customers have the option to contact Flyshuttle Customer Service to book larger or more suitable vehicle.
Liability
Flyshuttle reserve the right to alter routes, itineraries or timetables if reasonable changes are due to weather, road work or other conditions that are not controlled by Flyshuttle. These changes will always be notified to customers, as soon as possible.
Cancellation policy
Individual bookings
Reservations can be cancelled 72 hours prior to departure without penalty, unless stated otherwise. All cancellations need to be in written form. Cancellations received less than 72 hours prior to departure will be charged full price. If you have bought return package to the airport and you cannot use the second part of the journey, you can rebook for later use. Local trips with cancelled second part, on your behalf is your loss
Cancellation for 3rd party tours depends on the cancellation policy from the tour operator
If any dispute is raised, our legal court is district court of Sudurland. Name of operetor and licence holder is Thorvaldur Steinthorsson, ID 1706714309.
